Probably not. Most people will never need to learn HTML in order to run their site. Depending upon who handles your updates, you may want to get comfortable adding text... but that's about the extent of what you'll ever need to learn. Infact, while it won't hurt to understand what we're doing, it's probably easier if you're a blank slate. We've had problems with some people, in the past, changing things as we work on them. So it's sometimes easier to work with people that know their limits and let us do our job. After all, that's what you're paying for.
